Os he adjuntado el itinerario definitivo de la segunda excursión del Grial. Igualmente, la antología de lecturas para el viaje y los lugares que visitaremos. A la vuelta enviaremos las mejores fotos.
Si no habéis podido venir esta vez, tendréis una nueva oportunidad en septiembre, cuando repetiremos la excursión para todo aquel que no haya podido esta vez, pero tal vez
pueda entonces.

Una buena noticia. Ha salido el volumen Arthur of the Iberians, que completa esta prestigiosa serie de la Universidad de Gales. Os he adjuntado portadas e índice.
Yo he tenido el honor de participar con el capítulo final, todo un recuento de arturiana ibérica desde el XVIII and XXI. Quiero agradecer mucho a nuestros autores artúricos de Clytiar, ya que investigadores hay muchos, autores muchos menos. Es decir, Lourdes, Ana Margarida y José Ramón. Gracias.
Esta lista de obras se ha reunido con la ayuda de muchas personas que me han ido facilitando títulos. A todas doy gracias. Pero el proceso no ha terminado. Estoy seguro de que hay muchos más tesoros artúricos ibéricos por descubrir. De hecho, yo ya tengo varios hallazgos más que no me dejaron ya añadir a la lista.
Cualquier ausencia que detectéis (nada es perfecto), os agradecería muchísimo que me la comunicarais.

Good news. The volume Arthur of the Iberians has just been published. It completes this prestigious series published by the University of Wales. I have attached covers and index.
It was my honour to be able to contribute its final chapter, a survey of Iberian Arthuriana form the 18th to the 21st centuries. I feel very gratuful to our Clytiar Arthurian authors. Researchers, there are many; authors, many fewer. Namely, Lourdes, Ana Margarida and José Ramón. Thank you.
This listing of works has been compiled with the help of many individuals who have never stopped providing me with new titles. My warmest thank you to them all. But the process has not finished yet. I am sure that there are many more Iberian Arthurian treasures to discover. In fact, I already have some more findings, but it was too late to have them included in this chapter.
Anything you may miss (nothing is perfect), please, do not hesitate to tell me. I would feel very grateful if you do.

Como recordaréis, la semana pasada estuve en Allariz (Ourense) para presentar nuestro libro, De Britania a Britonia, en la Fundación Vicente Risco, sita en el precioso pueblo gallego de Allariz. En la fundación fueron extraordinarios conmigo. Disfrutamos de una espléndida velada artúrica. Y fue todo un éxito en su conjunto. Me hicieron muchas preguntas sobre el libro.
Para que podáis compartirlo un poco conmigo os he adjuntado una selección de fotos de Allariz, de la Fundación y del acto de presentación. También la entrevista que me hicieron en un periódico local, La Región.

As you probably remember, last week I was in Allariz (Ourense) to present our book, De Britania a Britonia, in the Vicente Risco Foundation, located in the most beautiful Galician village of Allariz. Everybody at the Foundation was wonderful to me. We enjoyed a unique Arthurian evening / early night. And everything can be claimed to be a success. The made me many questions about the book.

La mayoría de los CV que me habéis enviado ya están actualizados (Lourdes, José Ramón, Harvey, Itzel, Mariano, Eduardo, Joan, Jesús). Por favor, revisadlos por si algo hubiera salido mal Gracias. Algunos no están todavía: Roger (segunda actualización), Almudena, Ana. Estarán pronto. Espero el resto cuando sea posible.
El próximo día 21 de mayo habrá una presentación de nuestro libro De Britania a Britonia en la Fundación Vicente Risco, Allariz, Ourense (Galicia) dentro del marco de unas jornadas de Letras Galegas. Han sido tan amables de invitarme a este acto y allí estaré para representar a todos. Os he adjuntado el programa. Como bien sabéis, uno de los capítulos del libro está dedicado al maestro don Vicente Risco. Haremos fotos.

Nuestra compañera de Clytiar, Itzel López, ha leído su tesis y ya es una nueva doctora. Enhorabuena, Itzel, y mucha suerte. El título del trabajo es: «Representaciones del héroe en los manuscritos ilustrados de Chrétien de Troyes. Estudio iconográfico». Su directora ha sido Victoria Cirlot. Y se presentó en la Universidad Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona el 20 de febrero de 2015.
Tenemos, en segundo lugar, una nueva miembro del grupo, Ana Mariño, de la Universidad de León. Podéis ver sus datos en la sección de investigadores. Bienvenida, Ana, y muchas gracias por unirte.

Two good news.
Our Clytiar colleague, Itzel López, has defended her PhD Thesis. So, she is a new doctor. Congratulations, Itzel, and good luck. It is entitled: «Representaciones del héroes en los manuscritos ilustrados de Chrétien de Troyes. Estudio iconográfico» [Hero Representation in Chrétien de Troyes’ Illustrated Manuscripts. Iconographic Study]. Her supervisor has been Victoria Cirlot. And it was presented at the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona last February 20th, 2015.
Secondly, we have a new member, Ana Mariño, from the University of León. You can see her data in our member’s section. Welcome, Ana, and thank you very much for joining us.

El pasado fin de semana, el periódico El Mundo publicó un artículo sobre el libro que ya conocemos, Los reyes de Grial, de Margarita Torres y José Miguel Ortega (ver un mensaje anterior), texto sobre el Grial de León. Os he adjuntado el artículo completo. En la tercera página veréis junto a una foto de los autores, la noticia de que el libro ha sido traducido al inglés con el título de Kings of the Grail. Habrá dos ediciones, una para el RU, por Michael O’Mara, y otra para USA, por Penguin.
Last weekend, the Spanish newspaper El Mundo published an article on a book we already know a lot about, Los reyes del Grial, by Margarita Torres and José Miguel Ortega (see a previous message). As you probably remember it is a texto on the León Grail. I have attached the full article. In its third page, next to a photo of the authors, you will be able to learn that it has been translated into English with the title: Kings of the Grail. There will be two editions, one for the UK, by Michael O’Mara, and one for the USA, by Penguin.
