Podéis encontrar, en el primer documento adjunto, una copia de una versión en español del clásico libro del investigador francés Philippe Walter titulado: Merlín, Arturo y las hadas. La traducción se ha hecho en México.
He adjuntado el anuncio del primer simposio de la nueva Rama Hispánica de la Asociación Artúrica Internacional. Promete ser todo un acontecimiento largamente deseado.
Se celebrará el próximo mes de julio de 2021 en San Millán, La Rioja, y se podrá participar en línea.
Animaos y aprovecho para dar la enhorabuena a nuestro compañero de Clytiar, José Ramón Trujillo, que es quien está protagonizando la organización.

I have attached a PDF copy of a classic book by French researcher Philippe Walter in Spanish translation. The new title is Merlín, Arturo y las hadas (Merlin, Arthur and the Fairies). It has been made in Mexico.
I have also attached the announcement of the first symposium of the new Hispanic Branch of the International Arthurian Society. It promises to be a great event. No doubt a long-awaited meeting that will take place in San Millán, La Rioja, next July 2021. It will be possible to present papers online.
Don´t miss it. I also take advantage of this message to congratulate our Clytiar colleague, José Ramón Trujillo, who is leading the organization.

Como todos sabemos ya, el 2020 fue el año del primer centenario del fallecimiento del poeta y artista catalán modernista Alexandre de Riquer (1856-1920), autor del Poema del bosc (1910). Clytiar publicó en su momento una colección de traducciones a numerosas lenguas del su «Cant VIII, Escalibur», según recordamos en un número reciente del boletín Noticias de Clytiar.
La Biblioteca de Catalunya organizó el pasado año de 2020 algunas actividades de gran interés, como las dos siguientes:
1) Una mesa redonda en torno a este canto artúrico de A. de Riquer
2) Una recopilación de documentos en torno a Al. de Riquer

Nuestra colega Fátima Gutiérrez, de la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, ha publicado el siguiente volumen: Parsifal y las metamorfosis del Grial (Madrid: Ediciones Antígona, 2020). Se trata de un estudio muy completo del último drama musical de Richard Wagner, Parsifal, y del Grial en general.
Es una reedición corregida y aumentada y una traducción de un original francés anterior: Parsifal et les métamorphoses du Graal (Lyon: Éditions du Cosmogone, 2016).

El poeta Joan Deusa ha publicado una colección de poemas bajo el título Camelot o la poesía social (Alzira, València: Edicions Bromera, 2019). Los títulos de buena parte de las composiciones tratan sobre, por supuesto, Camelot, Excalibur, el sant graal o Avalon. Ved portada e índice en documento adjunto.

Queridos amigos de Clytiar:
Tengo una pequeña colección de envíos pendientes para nuestro boletín. Sin embargo, mañana cierra la Universidad de Valladolid y no me ha dado tiempo a hacer un envío completo de información y noticias. Habrá que esperar a principios de enero. Han sido unos meses muy difíciles y accarreo un gran retraso.
Sin embargo, por lo menos, no que querido que perdamos la tradición de una felicitación navideña relacionada con el mundo artúrico.
Feliz Navidad y próspero año nuevo en nuestro pequeño Camelot de amigos y colegas.

I have a big load on items for our bulletin. Unfortunately, the University of Valladolid will be locked down from tomorrow. It has been impossible for me to find the time to send you a full set of news. I will do it at the beginning of January. Promised! It has been a very difficult period and all my things are very late, to put it mildly.
However, al least, I have wanted to keep our Arthurian Merry Chistmas tradition.
The best for Christmas and a very fruitful new year in our small Camelot of friends and colleagues.

Se trata de la segunda edición del libro modernista publicado en 1910.
Recordemos que en 2014 tradujimos a una larga colección de lenguas el Cant VIII del poema, el más artúrico de todos: «Escalibor». Véase recordatorio adjunto, así como la reseña que se publicó aquel año en el periódico La Vanguardia y un artículo sobra la obra artística de Riquer que se conserva en la Biblioteca de Catalunya.
